Championship (Week 8) : Burton defeats Fulham 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Norwich City on September 12, the Brewers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Fulham this Saturday.
Burton Albion defender Stephen Warnock opened the score in the 12th minute, before seeing Fulham catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Oliver Norwood. 1-1 at half time. The Brewers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Akins Lucas on penalty in the 51st minute.
Fulham remains in 13rd place with 10 points from 8 games, one point behind Norwich City.
