Championship (Week 8) : Boro beats QPR 3-2

ENGLAND, Sep. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on September 12, the Smoggies returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over QPR this Saturday.

Wheeler David opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Middlesbrough catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Lewis Baker. 1-1 at half time. The Smoggies eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Fletcher Ashley ('55) and Assombalonga ('60).

Middlesbrough FC climbed to 7th place with 14 points from 8 games, only one point behind Sheffield United FC.
