SANTA CLARA, Jun. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Colombia defeated the United States by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Friday night at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Cristián Zapata ('8) and James Rodríguez ('42 on penalty).
The result put the Colombians top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Colombia will meet Paraguay at the Levi's Stadium on June 7, while the United States will face Costa Rica.
