SANTA CLARA, Jun. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Argentina defeated Chile by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Monday night at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
Chile made the Argentines doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Ángel Di María ('51) and Banega ('59).
The result put the Argentine top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet group leaders Panama at the Levi's Stadium on June 10, while Chile will face Bolivia.
