ORLANDO, Jun. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Centenario : Panama defeated Bolivia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Copa América group stage game on Monday night at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Pérez scored dual goals
Panama dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pérez in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Panamanians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Pérez with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Panamanians top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Panama will meet Argentina at the Camping World Stadium on June 10, while Bolivia will face Chile.
