South Korea beats Japan 4-1 to win 2017 East Asian Cup
TOKYO, Dec. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Japan 2017 : South Korea defeated Japan by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a East Asian Cup final round game (Final Tournament) on Saturday night at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.
Kim Shin-wook scored dual goals
Japan opened the score in the score in the 3rd minute thanks to Kobayashi on penalty, before South Korea regained the advantage with Shin-wook ('13, '35) and Jung Woo-young ('23). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Koreans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ki-hun in the 69th minute.
