NICE, Jun. 17, 2016 (AMP) — France 2016 : Spain defeated Turkey by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Euro group stage game on Friday night at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.
Álvaro Morata scored dual goals
Spain dominated the first half thanks to goals from Morata ('34) and Nolito ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Spaniards further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Morata in the 48th minute.
The result put the Spaniard top of Group D with 6 points. Turkey is bottom with no points. In their last game, Spain will meet second-placed Croatia at the Allianz Riviera on June 21, while Turkey will face Czech republic.
