Euro 2016 : Croatia and Spain qualify for the Round of 16
BORDEAUX, Jun. 21, 2016 (AMP) — France 2016 : Croatia defeated Spain by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Euro group stage game on Tuesday night at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.
Spanish forward Álvaro Morata opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing Croatia catch up in the 45th minute thanks to N. Kalinić. 1-1 at half time. The Croatians eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Perisic with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
