Oman beats Kuwait to advance to Gulf Cup semifinals
RIYADH, Nov. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2014 : Oman defeated Kuwait by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Thursday night at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.
Al-Ruzaiqi scored tripple goals
Oman dominated the first half thanks to goals from Al-Muqbali ('44) and Al-Ruzaiqi ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Omanis further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Al-Ruzaiqi '48, '59 and Al-Muqbali '90).
