RIYADH, Nov. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Saudi Arabia 2014 : The United Arab Emirates defeated Iraq by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Gulf Cup group stage game on Thursday night at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
Ali Mabkhout scored dual goals
45 minutes of play and neither the Emiratis nor the Iraqis have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with two goals by Emirati forward Ali Mabkhout at '50 and '62.
