La Liga (Week 35) : Barcelona beats Cordoba 8-0
SPAIN, May. 2, 2015 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 35: Four wins in a row for Barcelona. After their success against Valencia, Espanyol and Getafe, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 8-0 victory over Cordoba this Saturday.
Luis Suárez scored tripple goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rakitić ('42) and Suárez ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring six times (Messi '46, '80, Suárez '53, '88, Piqué '65 and Neymar '85/penalty).
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 87 points from 35 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
