La Liga (Week 18) : Bilbao draw 2-2 with Las Palmas
SPAIN, Jan. 3, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 18: The match between Athletic Bilbao and Las Palmas ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Athletic Bilbao players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Athletic Bilbao forward Aritz Aduriz on penalty in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Williams goal ('66) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Las Palmas with goals by Gomez Vicente ('62) and Tana Dominguez ('81).
Athletic Bilbao climbed to 6th place with 28 points from 18 games, 3 points behind Celta Vigo.
