La Liga (Week 20) : Real Sociedad and Deportivo play to a 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Jan. 16, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 20: The match between Real Sociedad and Deportivo La Coruna ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Deportivo La Coruna players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Deportivo La Coruna forward Luis Alberto in the 26th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Sociedad with a saving goal from Real Sociedad midfielder Prieto Xabi on penalty in the 75th minute.
Deportivo La Coruna remains in 9th place with 28 points from 20 games, tie on points with Athletic Bilbao, which has a game in hand.
