La Liga (Week 19) : Real Madrid beats Deportivo 5-0
SPAIN, Jan. 9, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 19: After their 2-2 draw against Valencia on January 3, Los Blancos bounced back with a 5-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Gareth Bale scored tripple goals
Real Madrid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Benzema ('15) and Bale ('22). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Blancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Bale '49, '63 and Benzema '90).
Real Madrid remains in third place with 40 points from 19 games, one point behind Atletico Madrid, which has a game in hand.
