SPAIN, Jan. 9, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Getafe. After their 1-2 win against Sporting Gijon on January 4, Los Azulones continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Real Betis this Saturday.
45 minutes of play and neither Getafe nor Real Betis have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Getafe forward Álvaro Vázquez in the 57th minute.
Getafe CF climbed to 12nd place with 23 points from 19 games, tie on points with Malaga CF, which has a game in hand.
