La Liga (Week 19) : Eibar beats Espanyol 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 10, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 19: Three wins in a row for Eibar. After their success against Sporting Gijon and Real Betis, the Armeros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-1 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Eibar midfielder Takashi Inui opened the score in the 15th minute, before seeing Espanyol catch up in the 22nd minute thanks to Joan Jordán. 1-1 at half time. The Armeros eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Baston Borja on penalty in the 74th minute.
SD Eibar climbed to 6th place with 30 points from 19 games, only one point behind Celta Vigo, which has a game in hand.
