SPAIN, Jan. 10, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 19: Three wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their success against Rayo Vallecano and Levante, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo this Sunday.
Celta Vigo made Atletico Madrid doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Griezmann ('49) and Ferreira-Carrasco ('80).
Atletico Madrid remains in first place with 44 points from 19 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Barcelona, which has a game in hand.
