La Liga (Week 29) : Atletico beats Deportivo 3-0
SPAIN, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 29: Four wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their success against Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Valencia, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 3-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday.
Atletico Madrid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Saúl Ñiguez in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Colchoneros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Griezmann '60 and Correa Angel '83).
Atletico Madrid remains in second place with 67 points from 29 games, 8 points behind FC Barcelona.
