SPAIN, Mar. 19, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 30: After losing 3-0 to Atletico Madrid on March 12, the Brancoazuis returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Levante this Saturday.
Deportivo La Coruna dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Luis Alberto in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brancoazuis further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Marino Diego into his own net with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Deportivo La Coruna climbed to 10th place with 36 points from 30 games, tie on points with Malaga CF, which has a game in hand.
