La Liga (Week 30) : Espanyol beats Bilbao 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 20, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 30: After their 1-1 draw against Granada on March 14, Los Periquitos returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Sunday.
Athletic Bilbao had started off well by taking the lead in the 20th minute with a goal by Eraso Javier. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Periquitos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Diop Pape '54 and Caicedo '57).
Athletic Bilbao remains in 6th place with 47 points from 30 games, one point behind Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
