La Liga (Week 35) : Las Palmas beats Espanyol 4-0
SPAIN, Apr. 22, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 35: After losing 1-0 to Real Betis on April 19, Los Amarillos returned to winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Espanyol this Friday.
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Moroccan midfielder Nabil El Zhar in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Viera Jonathan '49, Bigas Pedro '56 and Wakaso Mubarak '75).
UD Las Palmas climbed to 9th place with 43 points from 35 games, tie on points with Valencia CF, which has a game in hand.
