La Liga (Week 36) : Bilbao defeats Celta Vigo 2-1
SPAIN, May. 1, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: After a 2-1 victory over Granada on April 25, Celta lost 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao.
Celta Vigo midfielder Orellana Fabian opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Athletic Bilbao catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Aritz Aduriz penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. Los Leones eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by García in the 72nd minute.
Athletic Bilbao climbed to fifth place with 58 points from 36 games, 3 points behind Villarreal CF, which has a game in hand.
