La Liga (Week 36) : Getafe beats Deportivo 2-0
SPAIN, May. 1, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: After their 2-2 draw against Valencia on April 24, Los Azulones bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna this Sunday.
Getafe dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Leon Pedro in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Azulones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Vigaray Carlos with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Deportivo La Coruna are down in 15th place with 39 points from 36 games, one point behind RCD Espanyol.
