SPAIN, Apr. 30, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 36: 6 wins in a row for Atletico Madrid. After their success against Real Betis, Espanyol, Granada, Athletic Bilbao and Malaga, Los Colchoneros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Saturday.
Rayo Vallecano made Atletico Madrid doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by French midfielder Antoine Griezmann in the 55th minute.
Atletico Madrid climbed to first place with 85 points from 36 games, one point ahead of runner-up Real Madrid.
