La Liga (Week 37) : Levante beats Atletico 2-1
SPAIN, May. 8, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: After 6 straigth victories against Real Betis, Espanyol, Granada, Athletic Bilbao, Malaga and Rayo Vallecano, Los Colchoneros lost 2-1 against Levante.
Atletico Madrid forward Fernando Torres opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Levante catch up in the 30th minute thanks to Casadesus Victor. 1-1 at half time. Les Granotes eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Rossi seconds before the end of regulation.
Atletico Madrid are down in third place with 85 points from 37 games, 2 points behind Real Madrid.
