SPAIN, May. 8, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 37: After a 0-2 victory over Valencia on May 1, El Submarino Amarillo lost 2-0 against Deportivo La Coruna.
Deportivo La Coruna dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French midfielder Fayçal Fajr in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brancoazuis further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Perez Lucas in the 57th minute.
Villarreal CF remains in fourth place with 64 points from 37 games, 21 points behind Atletico Madrid.
