La Liga (Week 5) : Barcelona and Atletico tied at 1-1
SPAIN, Sep. 21, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: The match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
Barcelona players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitić in the 41st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Atletico Madrid with a saving goal from Correa Angel in the 61st minute.
FC Barcelona are down in third place with 10 points from 5 games, one point behind Sevilla FC.
