SPAIN, Sep. 22, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 5: After losing 0-2 to Real Madrid on September 18, Los Periquitos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Osasuna this Thursday.
Espanyol dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Baptistao Leonardo in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Periquitos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moreno in the 72nd minute.
RCD Espanyol climbed to 15th place with 5 points from 5 games, tie on points with Malaga CF.
