SPAIN, Dec. 18, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Barcelona. After their 0-3 win against Osasuna on December 10, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 4-1 victory over Espanyol this Sunday.
Luis Suárez scored dual goals
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Suárez '67, Alba '68 and Messi '90).
FC Barcelona remains in second place with 34 points from 16 games, 3 points behind Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
