La Liga (Week 16) : Leganés hold Eibar to 1-1
SPAIN, Dec. 18, 2016 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 16: The match between Leganés and Eibar ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Leganés players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Guerrero Miguel in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Eibar with a saving goal from Portuguese forward Bebe Correia in the 76th minute.
SD Eibar climbed to 7th place with 23 points from 16 games, 5 points behind Atletico Madrid.
