SPAIN, Oct. 15, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 8: After their 0-0 draw against Atletico Madrid on September 30, Los Pepineros returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Malaga this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Pires Gabriel ('56) and Szymanowski Alexander ('78).
CD Leganés climbed to 6th place with 14 points from 8 games, only one point behind Valencia CF, which has a game in hand.
