La Liga (Week 9) : Barcelona beats Malaga 2-0
SPAIN, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid on October 14, Barca returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Malaga this Saturday.
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Gerard Deulofeu in the 2nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Iniesta in the 56th minute.
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 25 points from 9 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Valencia CF.
