SPAIN, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 9: After losing 3-6 to Valencia on October 15, Los Beticos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Alavés this Saturday.
Real Betis dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Paraguayan forward Sanabria Antonio in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Beticos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Alexis Ruano into his own net in the 75th minute.
Real Betis climbed to 6th place with 16 points from 9 games, tie on points with Sevilla FC, which has a game in hand.
