SPAIN, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Leganés. After their 0-2 win against Malaga on October 15, Los Pepineros continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 1-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by French midfielder Claudio Beauvue in the 54th minute.
CD Leganés climbed to fifth place with 17 points from 9 games, tie on points with Real Madrid, which has a game in hand.
