La Liga (Week 10) : Barcelona defeats Bilbao 2-0
SPAIN, Oct. 28, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Barcelona. After their 2-0 win against Malaga on October 21, Barca continued their sensational form in the La Liga with a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao this Saturday.
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine forward Lionel Messi in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Paulinho in stoppage time.
FC Barcelona remains in first place with 28 points from 10 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Valencia CF.
