La Liga (Week 10) : Girona defeats Real Madrid 2-1
SPAIN, Oct. 29, 2017 (AMP) — La Liga / Match day 10: After four straigth victories against Alavés, Espanyol, Getafe and Eibar, Los Blancos lost 2-1 against Girona.
Real Madrid had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by midfielder Isco. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Blanquivermells nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Stuani '54 and Portu Cristian '58).
Real Madrid remains in third place with 20 points from 10 games, 4 points behind Valencia CF.
