League Two (Week 16) : Shrewsbury beats Dag & Red 2-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 16: Five wins in a row for Shrewsbury Town. After their success against Cheltenham Town, York City, Bury and Portsmouth, Salop continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge this Saturday.
Dagenham & Redbridge had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by Bingham. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Salop nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Mangan '70 and Lawrence '90 on penalty).
Shrewsbury Town FC climbed to third place with 30 points from 16 games, only one point behind Luton Town FC.
