League Two (Week 16) : Hartlepool and Newport play out 2-2 draw
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 16: The match between Hartlepool United and Newport County ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Newport County players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Zebroski in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite O Connor goal ('57) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Hartlepool United with goals by Walker ('80) and Duckworth ('87).
Newport County AFC are down in 8th place with 24 points from 16 games, one point behind Southend United FC.
