League Two (Week 16) : Northampton beats AFC Wimbledon 2-0
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 16: After four straigth defeats, the Cobblers returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon this Saturday.
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mohamed in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Nicholls in stoppage time.
Northampton Town FC climbed to 15th place with 21 points from 16 games, tie on points with Cambridge United FC.
