League Two (Week 16) : Wycombe Wanderers beats Oxford 2-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Dagenham & Redbridge on October 25, the Chairboys bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Oxford United this Saturday.
Oxford United had started off well by taking the lead in the 37th minute with a goal by Hylton on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Chairboys nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hayes '53 and Murphy '62).
Wycombe Wanderers FC climbed to first place with 32 points from 16 games, one point ahead of runner-up Luton Town FC.
