League Two (Week 16) : Portsmouth defeats Carlisle 3-0
ENGLAND, Nov. 1, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 16: After losing 2-1 to Shrewsbury Town on October 25, Pompey returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Carlisle United this Saturday.
Portsmouth dominated the first half thanks to goals from Westcarr ('2) and Storey ('26). Leading 2-0 at the break, Pompey further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hollands in the 74th minute.
Portsmouth FC climbed to 9th place with 23 points from 16 games, only one point behind Newport County AFC.
