FRANCE, Sep. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 9: After a 2-1 victory over Clermont on September 20, Reims lost 2-1 against Brest.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Battocchio Cristian ('79) and Maupay ('88).
Stade Brest climbed to first place with 18 points from 9 games, one point ahead of runner-up Amiens Sporting Club, which has a game in hand.
