AUCKLAND, Jul. 10, 2002 (AMP) — New Zealand 2002 : Australia defeated the Fiji by a big score of 8-0 (halftime: 5-0), in a OFC Nations Cup group stage game on Wednesday at the Ericsson Stadium in Auckland.
Porter served up another goal feast
Australia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Milicic ('4), Porter ('7, '12, '45) and Juric ('36). Leading 5-0 at the break, the Australians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Trimboli '46, Porter '52 and De Amicis '89).
