Primeira Liga (Week 27) : Benfica and Porto tied at 1-1
PORTUGAL, Apr. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 27: The match between actual leader Benfica and Porto ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Benfica players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian forward Jonas Oliveira on penalty in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Porto with a saving goal from Uruguayan defender Pereira Maxi in the 49th minute.
SL Benfica remains in first place with 65 points from 27 games, one point ahead of runner-up FC Porto.
