Primeira Liga (Week 28) : Porto beats Belenenses 3-0

PORTUGAL, Apr. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 28: After their 1-1 draw against Vitoria Setubal on April 1 and 1-1 draw against Benfica on April 1, the Dragons bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.

Porto dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Pereira Danilo in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dragons further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Soares Tiquinho '70 and Brahimi '74/penalty).

FC Porto climbed to first place with 67 points from 28 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
