Segunda division (Week 16) : Alavés beats Valladolid 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 5, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: Four wins in a row for Alavés. After their success against Girona, Elche and Mallorca, Los Babazorros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Valladolid this Saturday.
Alavés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pacheco Dani in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Babazorros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kiko in the 68th minute.
Deportivo Alavés climbed to first place with 29 points from 16 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Cordoba CF, which has a game in hand.
