SPAIN, Dec. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Cordoba. After their 2-1 win against Real Oviedo on November 29, Los Califas continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Girona this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Cordoba nor Girona have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Fidel De La Torre ('54) and Andone Florin ('59).
Cordoba CF remains in first place with 30 points from 16 games, one point ahead of runner-up Deportivo Alavés.
