Segunda division (Week 16) : Leganés beats Numancia 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Leganés. After their 1-0 win against Bilbao Athletic on November 28, Los Pepineros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Numancia this Sunday.
Leganés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dovale Toni in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pepineros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fernandez Guillermo in the 70th minute.
CD Leganés climbed to 9th place with 23 points from 16 games, only one point behind AD Alcorcon.
