Serie A (Week 20) : Cagliari beats Sassuolo 2-1
ITALY, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: After their 2-2 draw against Udinese on January 18, the Rossoblu returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Sassuolo this Saturday.
Cagliari dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Rossettini in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rossoblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cop in the 79th minute.
US Sassuolo Calcio remains in 11st place with 25 points from 20 games, one point behind Palermo, which has a game in hand.
