Serie A (Week 20) : Udinese beats Empoli 2-1
ITALY, Jan. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: After their 1-1 draw against Sassuolo on January 18 and 2-2 draw against Cagliari on January 18, the Bianconeri returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Empoli this Monday.
Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale opened the score in the 19th minute, before seeing Empoli catch up in the 37th minute thanks to Riccardo Saponara penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Bianconeri eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Widmer in the 60th minute.
Udinese climbed to 9th place with 27 points from 20 games, tie on points with Palermo.
